To celebrate the 45th Earth Day, an E-classroom session was conducted for over 50 primary school students by Zigong Geopark and Hongkong Geopark on 22, April 2014.
Zigong Geopark cooperated with Hongkong Geopark, invited students of Zigong Jiangjie Primary School to take part in the E-classroom session. Geological heritages including dinosaurs, volcanoes and beautiful coastal geomorphology have been shown to students, which have greatly aroused students interest in earth science and environment protection.
Network Connection with Hongkong Geopark
This was the first E-classroom conducted by the two geoparks together, and it was greatly welcomed by the students. In order to provide chances for students’ exchange, there would be more cooperations between the two geoparks.
