The year 2025 marks the 110th anniversary of the discovery of dinosaur fossils in Zigong, as well as the 30th anniversary of the discovery of the Hechuan Mamenchisaurus fossils. Additionally, August 10 is observed as the Zigong Dinosaur Geological Relics Protection Publicity Day.
On the morning of August 12, the 'My Story with Zigong Dinosaurs' thematic event returned to the original site of the dinosaur discoveries. It brought local residents a time-traveling exploration journey into the prehistoric world, serving as a special tribute to commemorate this significant occasion.
