On 21st, September, UNESCO announced the list of parks which passing the revalidation during 2012. Zigong Global Geopark passed the revalidation, got the green card from GGN.
During 21st-23rd, May, 2012, experts from GGN investigated Zigong Geopark, examed the park''s processes during the past 4 years since 2008. On 23rd, May, Professor Mohd Shafeea Leman and Professor Dan Grigorescu indicated, Zigong Global Geopark will always be one of the most attractive parks in their hearts, which gave them a good memory, and they hoped Zigong Global Geopark would be better and better, and show its elegant demeanour to the world.
