On 21st, September, UNESCO announced the list of parks which passing the revalidation during 2012. Zigong Global Geopark passed the revalidation, got the green card from GGN.

Delegation of Zigong Global Geopark attended the 11th EGN Conference in Portugal. The conference is held from Wednesday 19th to Friday 21st, September, in Arouca Geopark, Portugal. About 200 representatives from more than 40 countries participated in this conference.

Zigong Global Geopark is aim to learn European geoparks achievements, experiences, and promote Zigong Geopark. Besides, the most important thing is to contact with experts of GGN, and wait for the revalidation result.
