6th Intensive Course on Geoparks, Lesvos Global Geopark, GREECE 25 June-4 July 2013

The University of the Aegean - Department of Geography in collaboration with the Natural History Museum of the Lesvos Petrified Forest and the Lesvos Geopark invite you to participate in the Intensive Course “Earth heritage site assessment - Geoparks management and Geotourism development” on Lesvos Island, Greece, from June 25th to July 4th, 2013.
Lectures will be given by geoparks experts and academic staff with long experience on geoheritage and geodiversity management, sustainable tourism and geoparks.
The International Intensive Course on Geoparks 2013 is co organized in close cooperation with the Global Geoparks Network and the European Geoparks Network. The Course will take place on Lesvos Island, Greece at the premises of the Lesvos Geopark.
Those who are interested in participating in the course are invited to send an application form accompanied by a short CV and an abstract (one page) of their presentation, which they will present during the Course.
