Recently, a four-member delegation from Zigong UNESCO Global Geopark went to Azores UNESCO Global Geopark in Portugal to participate in the 14th European Geopark Conference. The conference attracted more than 400 representatives from 45 countries around the world, including Zigong.
During the conference, the Zigong UGGp delegation participated in the whole process, and actively exchanged and learned from each other with representatives of GGN members from various countries. In addition, the Zigong representative also delivered an oral presentation on "Zigong UNESCO Global Geopark Expansion Work", introducing in detail the large amount of work done by Zigong UGGp in the expansion and future work plans, which aroused the attention and appreciation of colleagues.
