On June 6, a total of 75 college students went to Zigong UNESCO Global Geopark to carry out research activities.The students learned about the two characteristic resources of dinosaur fossils and well salt site in Zigong UNESCO Global Geopark by participating in special lectures and field visits.
Through the combination of theoretical study and extracurricular practice, the students felt the unique charm of Zigong UGGp, and showed a strong interest in the protection of paleontological fossil and the history and culture of well salt.In future, Zigong UGGp will further play the role of popular science education, and build a better research platform for more students to enter Zigong UGGp, explore the Jurassic dinosaur kingdom, experience the history and culture of Zigong salt industry.
