Sichuan Finance Department and Sichuan Land and Resources Department appropriated a total fund of four-million RMB to Zigong UNESCO Global Geopark in June 2018, mainly used for investigating geoheritage, establishing geopark database and conserving Qinglongshan Fossil Site (another important burial site of the geopark).
