Sichuan Normal University went to Zigong UNESCO Global Geopark to carry out research activities for college students

On June 7th, 71 students from Sichuan Normal University went to Zigong UGGp to carry out research activities.

The students learned about Zigong UGGp systematically by participating in science population lectures offered by Zigong UGGp and on-site visits to the park. Through this activity, the students knew the natural geographical environment and geological characteristics of the park, the protection and utilization of heritage tourism resources, as well as the salt industry culture and the history of salt industry economic development in Zigong, and carried out classroom learning and outdoor practice perfect combination.
