In November 2024, Zigong participated in the "2024 Cultural Relics Protection and Utilization Expo" jointly hosted by the China Association for the Protection of Cultural Relics and the China Society of Cultural Relics. The event promoted and showcased the resources, culture, and creative products of the Zigong Global Geopark.
