Zigong UNESCO Global Geopark successfully hosted the Campus of Popular Science Volunteers in December 2018. Over 40 Candidates gathered in the geopark and worked together to promote it. They are of universities, companies, agencies, geoparks and publishing houses, such as China University of Geosciences, Guizhou University, Nanjing Normal University, Chengdu University of Technology, Zhejiang Ocean University, Anhui Normal University etc..
