The salt industry in our country has a long history. The types of sites such as well salt, lake salt, sea salt, spring salt, and mineral salt are diverse and widely distributed, forming a unique Chinese salt industry heritage system and colorful salt industry cultural landscapes. From July 11th to 24th, Zigong Salt Industry History Museum went to the representative salt industry sites in Tibet, Qinghai and Gansu for academic investigation. The purpose of the investigation was to further understand the historical culture, preservation status, protection and utilization path of the representative salt industry sites in China.
