The Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism recently released the first batch of Sichuan Ancient Books Protection Stations, including the Zigong Salt Industry History Museum.
Situated as a core scenic area within the Zigong UNESCO Global Geopark, the Zigong Salt Industry History Museum houses an extensive library that contains 480 sets of ancient texts, totaling 4,039 volumes. Within this collection are works of history, geography, family lineage, local annals, and texts on the salt industry. These ancient books are related to Zigong's city heritage and have important historical and cultural relic value.
