Recently, Zigong UNESCO Global Geopark traveled to Langkawi UNESCO Global Geopark in Malaysia and attended the 9th Asia-Pacific Geoparks Network Symposium. It delivered a thematic presentation on practices in geological heritage protection and geological hazard prevention and control, and deepened international cooperation with sister parks such as Langkawi.
