The team of Xiangxi UGGp visited Zigong UGGp for investigation and exchange on 30, October. Xiangxi Geopark became the sister geopark of Zigong UGGp in 2018. Since then, the two teams are conducted many exchanges and discussions on geopark declaration, management and construction.
In July 2020, Xiangxi Geopark was successfully promoted to Xiangxi UNESCO Global Geopark. In the future, the two parks will continue to have in-depth cooperation and exchanges, and work together to promote the development of the geopark.
